Terms of Service
The agreement between you and the operator of this installation.
Read this first. This is a template describing how the software is intended to be used. It is not legal advice and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer for your jurisdiction. Adapt it before relying on it.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using this installation of Kabobs PinFlow you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What the service does
Kabobs PinFlow lets you compose Pinterest pins, store them, schedule them, and publish them to Pinterest boards you control, using the official Pinterest API. It is a tool that acts on your explicit instruction. It does not create or select content on your behalf.
3. Your Pinterest account and Pinterest's rules
Your use of Pinterest remains governed by Pinterest's own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Developer Guidelines. You are responsible for complying with them. In particular you agree that:
- you will only connect Pinterest accounts you are authorised to manage;
- you will choose each pin that gets published rather than attempting bulk automated posting of content you have not reviewed;
- you will not use this tool to create spam, engagement farms, or misleading content;
- you will not attempt to use it to gather data about other Pinterest users or accounts.
Pinterest can suspend or remove developer access to any application that breaches their guidelines. That decision rests with Pinterest and is outside the operator's control.
4. Your account here
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Choose a strong, unique password. Tell the operator promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the images and text you upload. You confirm that you have the rights to use and publish them, and that they do not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or privacy rights. You grant the operator only the limited permission needed to store your content and transmit it to Pinterest when you ask for it to be published.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- upload malware, or attempt to execute code through the upload feature;
- attempt to access another user's records, or probe, scan or test the security of the installation without permission;
- use the service to publish content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit;
- resell or sublicense access to this installation without the operator's agreement;
- place load on the service that interferes with other users.
7. Third party services
The service depends on the Pinterest API, and optionally on OpenAI if you supply a key. Those services have their own terms, their own availability, and their own pricing. If you enable the AI features, OpenAI bills you directly for usage under your key. Changes made by those providers may affect what this software can do.
8. Availability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis with no uptime guarantee. Scheduled pins publish only if your server, your cron job, your database and the Pinterest API are all working at that moment. You are responsible for checking that your queue is actually being processed.
9. Backups
Keep your own backups of the database and the uploads folder. The operator does not guarantee recovery of lost data.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, missed publications, or the suspension of your Pinterest account. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Suspension and termination
The operator may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms. You may stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted.
12. Trademarks
Pinterest, the Pinterest logo and Pin are trademarks of Pinterest, Inc. This project is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. OpenAI is a trademark of OpenAI, L.L.C.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one on this page.
